Annual Get-Together, December 3. Join us!

Save the afternoon of Sunday, December 3rd for our annual Get-Together at the Mayflower Church, 106 E Diamond Lake Rd, Minneapolis from 3 – 5pm in the Chapel.

The party will again be preceded by an exclusive tour from 2-2:45 pm across the street at The Museum of Russian Art, one of the Twin Cities’ most delightful arts treasures.   The museum is offering this tour free to attendees of our Get-Together.  Size of tour is limited.  Advance reservation required.

You’ll hear about our year–our first ever tri-country (US-Russia-China) student video conference will have just happened in November–and what’s coming up–a new ambitious music project at the Children’s Center (orphanage) for one–and will be entertained by a video montage of winning performances by three of our favorites at the Children’s Center in Petrovsk, Vitaly (10) and Zoya (12) who went off to Moscow this spring and took home top prizes in the national children’s singing contest-TV show, “You’re Super!” and Nastya (15), who is doing well in the 2nd edition of  “You’re Super,” which is for dance.

As usual we’ll entice you with Russian party food–blini (Russian crepes), pelmeni (meat dumplings), Olivier Salad (traditional holiday vegetable salad), Seliotka pod Shuboi (a favorite holiday salad of  beets and other vegetables with a touch of herring, caviar, Russian candies and cookies, even compote — a an old-fashioned drink of boiled dried fruits.

Bring your appetites, your interest, your friends, your checkbooks and credit cards, and help us celebrate a banner year.

We hope to see you there!
